Raised in Mount Gilead, Ohio, USA. He was strongly influenced by Traditional Country, 50's Rockabilly, 60's Folk, as well as Contemporary Alternative Styles.

His 2011 release, The Poet, arose from one of the most painful and frightening experiences a human being can have: a battle with cancer. In his liner notes for that album he says; "After winning a battle with cancer, I began to evaluate my life. I looked at what I have done, what I have not done, and what I needed to do. Much of that conversation with myself shows up in my songs.” Although not a full studio production, the setting seems just right for the stories being told.
That defining moment brought him back to the performanmce spotlight, returning to the stage, in 2010, after 22 years of not performing. It also brought him closer to what mattered to him most— a desire to express a spectrum of emotion and feelings through his words and stories. Those conversations have continued in his latest work (and first full studio release) "Stories From Edison Road."
From these songwriting efforts, he has received some international air-play, song placement in the television show "Gear Heads," opportunities to write and performs with some of the best-brightest young Singer/Songwriters around Nashville, and has had multiple releases (4 different artist) of his most highly demanded song "What If Its Love." All while remaining as one of the Top 25 Americana Artist in Nashville.
That, of course, is just the beginning ...
All those previous comments (above), were posted several years ago. Today (as I’m writing this) … it is January 24th, 2025. So much has changed since those comments were posted. One of those changes … a brand new full studio album release. Look for “Precious Time.” That is the album title, as well as the title of the first song.
