Kal'L

Kal’L is an R&B singer/songwriter currently based in Milwaukee, WI who was born in the Bronx, NY. Introduced to music by his father, he started his journey at a young age. His mother placed him in piano lessons and church choirs. Eventually he grew into his own style; drawing inspiration from 90’s R&B and Pop artists like Ne-Yo and N Sync. He found appeal within their songwriting and harmonizing abilities. Like many other artists, Kal’L tried his hand at being in a few groups in the midst of his career. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for songwriting. In 2007, he was influenced to branch out on his own and see what he could accomplish as a solo musician and performer. He would go on to release his debut album Chronological which sold thousands of copies in his local market alone. Since then Kal’L has gone on to: release countless singles, captivate audiences with numerous stage shows, successfully spearhead events, and much more. In 2012, he embarked on a campaign where he released new singles and cover videos every two weeks. Additionally, he cultivated two collaboration series where he not only showed off his versatility but brought the artists in his city together. He topped off the year with the release of a brand new EP entitled, Love & Loss. This included his hit single “Count On Me.” Kal’L’s goal with his is music is to bring back the art of storytelling to R&B. He executes said goal by ensuring that each track he creates doubles as a lyrical adventure for the listener where they can feel his emotions and relate to his experiences. With a promise to craft each tale without restrictions and make sure each is infused with the perfect harmonies and melodies; Kal’L is truly setting the bar for the world of R&B.
