Gene is an aging father of nine who was one of the original punks in the New York scene of the mid 70's. He played in the Sinatras, the Slumlords and Fun/No Fun, claims the Rolling Stones and the New York Dolls as primary influences, and of course THEIR influences in old blues/R&B. Now living in Fort Collins, Colorado, he discovered the Girls Next Door singing in his living room. They are Cecilia and Claire Webber and Nikki Bechtold, ages 15-16. He rushed them to the world-renowned Blasting Room studios. Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) plays drums on Ghost Love. These songs are the first fruits of that project.
