“* “These guys are truly one of the undiscovered gems in Nashville. They're both fantastic writers and their songs are defined by a "real man's" attitude -- not cocky or brash, but genuine and open. And we're excited to feature their brand of music on No Shoes Radio!” - Jon Anthony, GM/PD of Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Radio and former VP/Country Programming of SIRIUS XM”

“MINDEN — Dustin Bogue knows Nebraska. Although he was born in Iowa and now lives in Nashville, Bogue spent summers in Columbus as a teenager. “My uncle had a company that poured concrete in Columbus,” Bogue said in an interview from Music City. “For about three or four summers in a row, he would take me off my mom’s hands — keep me out of trouble — and he’d put a damn sledge hammer or shovel in my hands, put me to work and teach me how to get after it.” These days Bogue is more likely to have a guitar in his hands as he tours the country as part of Brasher/ Bogue, a country music duo responsible for such music as “By God” and “Real Friends.” Brasher/Bogue will perform at 7:30 p.m. June 13 at Minden Opera House as part of Gone Country concert series. Tickets are $12 at the door. Bogue’s relationship with Andy Brasher evolved around songwriting. “We’re very much about the songs,” Bogue said. “We try to have a credible message to each of the songs. “- "'Drivin' with the Devil'" is ready for the radio. If you're playing Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert (and you are), you should absolutely play Brasher/Bogue. Great attitude to spare. Terrific lyric. This is the kind of country music--I call it 'blue collar country'--that's exploding at country radio. Don't take my word for it; take your listeners' word for it. Brasher/Bogue has arrived right on time."”

“- “Driving With The Devil" is a rare and powerful song that has you visualizing along with the lyric. These guys are so bad ass!” ”

Matt Fisher (program director @ 92.9 the Moose)

“-"Drivin' with the Devil is a fantastic new song from the minds of Andy Brasher and Dustin Bogue. It's gritty, powerful and as country as crabapple cobbler. This one will make you want to put the pedal to the metal and listen over and over again. My listeners are hooked!"”

“Here is a great story from radio-info.com and I thought I share. An interesting story from the halls of Country Radio Seminar last week: No Shoes Radio programmer Jon Anthony was talking about some of the left-field acts that had wound up on the eclectic Internet station built around Kenny Chesney. Many of them were acts that Chesney had discovered himself. “Grant Haze is an artist who was performing at a club in the islands that Kenny met and brought back some music for NSR. We also play an artist called Mishka, again, someone with a Caribbean vibe, and Entrain. And there’s a Country duo here in Nashville called the Brasher/Bogue Project. “Then we have a rock band called BreakLeg, which is a few guys in Kenny’s crew and band, that are making a serious go of doing their own project,” Anthony adds. “If Kenny or I are in a venue, anywhere, and hear something that fits NSR, we’ll go buy the CD right off the merchandise table!” ”

“Kenny Chesney‘s “No Shoes Radio” will host a flood relief benefit concert tonight in Nashville. Singer/songwriters Brasher/Bogue will headline the event with their “Brasher/Bogue & Real Friends @ The Hard Rock” series that has been temporarily displaced from downtown Nashville’s Hard Rock Cafe due to flooding. If you’re in Nashville, $5 gets you in the door at the Tin Roof for this great event… and if you’re not in Nashville, you’re in luck – you can listen to the event live on “No Shoes Radio” beginning at 5:00pm CST tonight.”

“Ok ladies… some of you really like a man with boyish charm. You like to see a big heart and humble disposition, even in the light of fame. A ball cap, a t-shirt… snappy casual. Think Kenny, or Tom Hanks, or Peyton Manning. Honorable and trustworthy by all appearances. A high degree of like-ability. On the other hand, some of you like the ink. And a piercing here or there. Facial hair and a pony tail. You like the hint of danger behind a bouquet of roses. A little mysterious – something deeper lurking under the black leather. A rocker edge. Dare I say… a bad boy? All of you however, love good music. Effortless harmonies and mad guitar skills. Lyrics that tell poignant stories. Songs so good they really shouldn’t end. Meet my new friends Andy Brasher and Dustin Bogue, two sweet midwestern boys who embody all of the above. They are the total package. I like to see good guys do well. CLICK LINK TO READ MORE...”
