Hailing from the Stoney Nakoda First Nations Reservation in Morley Alberta Canada, DETHGOD is the first ever Death metal band from an Aboriginal Race, with a six piece members within the band,Half of DETHGOD's music is based upon our peoples history and other First nations history as well , from Assimilation of the late 1800s to the residential school systems and the other half is something morden from our point of views in Reservation life and inspirations from our favourite metal bands. As members of the Nokoda community, we as individuals experienced criticism, judgemental and, neglected from the majority of our own people That is why we call ourselves DETHGOD, (DEATH GOD) ALIENATED WITHOUT RELIGION OR CREED!!!!!!
