B I O G R A P H Y Heavenly Creatures is a French independent band of dark electronic music created by Dr. Ohm in 2004, which blends various strains of gothic music, ranging from ambient, folk, neo-classical industrial and electronica. Doctor Ohm (aka Richard Turek) was born in Germany on 26th of June 1968. He is the heart and soul of the band Heavenly Creatures with his skills of classical-trained composer, arranger and sound engineer. He also is a authentic passionate of electronic instruments like vintage synthesizers. The pseudonym Dr. Ohm is both a tribute to the inventor of the electric resistance unit as well as the famous British Dr. Who Sci-Fi series. Although Heavenly Creatures’ music is mostly instrumental, some very interesting collaborations have been sucessfully made with a couple of independant artists and singers like Andra Dare, Dae Noctem (from Era Nocturna) and Alex Taylor and The Evil Eye Heavenly Creatures also perform live sometimes. Dr. Ohm is joined on stage by Morgane Chavaneau playing the Celtic harp and Jean-Noël Jaspero playing the violin.
