With an A.A.S. in Music Education/Music Merchandising from Onondaga Community College, 20+ years of live and studio drumming experience, and having played thousands of shows all over the US and UK, I've also been inspiring the youth of the Syracuse area teaching drums and percussion since 1999. Currently my studio can be found in the SubCat Music Studios complex at 219 West St in Syracuse, NY. In the summers of 2011, 2012 and 2013 I rocked out with the kids as the drum instructor for The Redhouse Rock Camp in Syracuse, teaching hands on rock band interaction (also located at 219 West St.) I proudly endorse Evans Drum Heads, Vic Firth Sticks and Soultone Cymbals. My main project, HOBO GRAFFITI, features all the current members of Brand New Sin with the addition of singer/songwriter/guitarist Heather Jones. This is a new direction for us...Chuck and Kris dropped the hard rock vibe and switched over to upright bass and acoustic guitar. I don't know how to classify it. We're writing songs that invoke the spirits of Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin, while blending the styles of Tom Petty, John Cougar, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Danzig and Jack White (what?) if you can imagine that melting pot. Old meets new, raw, unprocessed roots and blues rock from a band deep seated in the hard rock scene. In May of 2011, Brand New Sin signed a worldwide distribution and marketing deal with Goomba Music and Eone Entertainment, releasing their 5th full length album in fall of 2011.
