Mike Shrout has been writing music for over 10 years. He was an aspiring musician while attending the school of music in Tennessee, only to leave early to defend his country after 9/11. He joined the Marines and spread his music by performing to people of all walks of life on many different continents worldwide. He gained the tittle of "Djiboutian Idol" in 2004 in Eastern Africa during his cultural enlightenment. His music instantly captures and pulls listeners into his world by taking them on a ride down Mike's memory lane. His style has a rootsy, blues, folk, rock feel that is entrancing to say the least. Mike is now a singer songwriter in the Atlanta area self releasing his first EP "Hammer Droppin' Judge". (Copyright 2011)
