We are a band that want's our music to be different and have it make a difference in your life. We chose our band name "NOT MY OWN" because what we are doing as a band is not for ourselves, it’s for the Lord. “It’s not my own vision, it’s His!” Not My Own is a Christian group made up of very talented musicians that came together in the small state of Delaware. They can’t believe the band is finally coming together as quickly and smoothly as it did. It’s a huge blessing from God. It is a very weird and interesting situation of how this group came together. Through multiple line-up changes, they feel they now have a very solid group of dedicated musicians doing what they love to do. The band formed in August of 2008, and since then they have been moving on all cylinders trying to give their very best. Their main goal is to reach out to the youth through their strong lyrics and music to let them know that there is so much more to life then what is portrayed by the media.
