Born in 1967 just before the summer of love, Scott has carried a deep love for music all his life. At age 6 he took up the piano, at 11 he took up the cello, and at age 14 he bought his first guitar. Self taught from the start, he was weaned on the classic rock of the 70's, played 80's metal in big hair metal bands, 90's grunge in grunge rock wanna-be bands, and then in 1993 he bought his first acoustic guitar and discovered mellow. Since then he's played for thousands, writing songs with a depth of heart and sophistication that belies his technical skills, expressing his passion for the acoustic, and a skill at finding the hook and telling the story.
