Allow me to introduce myself - I am an English-speaking, classically trained solo ‘cellist providing bespoke entertainment for wedding ceremonies, receptions and special events across Haute-Vienne, Dordogne and Charente in SW France. I cover all genres from classical, opera and baroque to jazz, film and theatre music and Broadway showtunes. What sets me apart from other classical ensembles? My repertoire also contains a large proportion of classic and popular love songs. And I absolutely never wear black! (Well, almost never...) I can also record and upload samples to this website in advance of the wedding so you can preview the arrangements, practice walking down the aisle, etc... I have even accompanied a Bride who wanted to sing her vows!  Don’t like classical music? Not a problem, not everyone does. In fact, as I deal with a large proportion of young couples, I quite often play no traditionally ‘classical’ music at all. I have an extensive repertoire of pop songs, love songs, film and theatre music, and Broadway musical and show tunes, and I am always adding current songs to my list. And I will always advise you, honestly, as to whether your crazy ideas might just work arranged for ‘cello. (They always have so far.) With my broad repertoire you could have beautiful French classics before your ceremony, jazz and showtunes for your cocktails and film and popular music for your reception. Or, mix it up a bit and let me produce a unique playlist just for you.  Are you holding your ceremony in a church or chapel, or a small, intimate venue? Being a solo performer I am extremely versatile - I can play acoustically for venues such as a chapel, church or other venue without a music licence, or with backing and amplification for outdoor or larger venues. Or both. I have the additional advantage of taking up very little space whatever the venue! I can follow you from church to reception, and also relocate around the wedding venue easily and quickly – from welcome drinks to ceremony, to cocktails, to dining room or marquee...  I offer a range of wedding packages covering welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktails and reception, or for an intimate evening do, welcome meal or rehearsal dinner. Each package can be adapted to suit your exact requirements. Packages start from €350, including travel to the whole of the Perigord Vert region, Limoges and Angoulême, and I can travel further for an additional charge.  I have over 20 years experience playing in Symphony Orchestras, Chamber Groups and ensembles, have played here in France at Michelin-starred restaurants and Fairytale chateaux venues for International clients from the US and UK to Sweden and Australia, and am extremely proud to include Jewish and same-sex couples amongst my clientele.  In short, I will work closely with you as a couple to find the music that you love in order to create the perfect musical accompaniment to your Big Day, tailor-made to your musical tastes and preferences.
