8 Digital; an experimentation in anything and everything. It takes influences from bands such as 'Skinny Puppy', 'Front Line Assembly', 'Tool', Rhythm and blues... Many types of bands and many genres of music. The project is lead by Ivor "Tweed8" Stines and was created in 2001. It was his first real excursion into music and production as a whole. The project's purpose beyond creating music that hopefully all can enjoy is to create a painting of stories and abstract images. 8 Digital has lent its music to both film, video games and remixes. The dream of this project is simple but, not individual, it is to grow and create, to gain wisdom and spread a little fun... 8 Digital was born from a "Cyber Punk/Dystopian" graphic novel, 'Project Nexrung' that was being written and illustrated by artist Ivor Stines. He started writing the music for the story as a way to combat writers block. Over time the music took over the story and has remained that way until present. Tyler Steel and Troy Hilton were brought into the mix at a later date to fill out the live aspect. 8 Digital has so far released a single ep entitled, "The Spaces In Between" and a number of singles. They are currently working on their next release, working title "American Gods". Which will include members Tyler and Troy in studio for the first time.
