....It started from a band named Red Plat that was formed around 2004. After 2 years of music, Leo, Yuki, Rusdi, and Jay felt that they can be no longer together with the two other members, just because there was a family matter among the second guitarist and keyboardist Around 2006, the four ex Red Plat decided to form a new band, a speed metal band that would be independent from anything like they experienced before. The name Archangel itself comes from Leo, the lead vocalist admires the leader of angels very much, so he suggested "Archangel" to be the name of the band. After couples of time, Jarot was in to fill the second guitarist. Archangel gets influence from many European speed or melodic power metal band, such as Helloween, Rhapsody of Fire, Stratovarious, and a little bit American metal like old Metallica. After 5 years get along, Jarot resigned to move on to his business. While together in 4 members, we heard that Bimo, former guitarist of Red Plat is available for regroup with Archangel. So, it can be said that it is the Red Plat in a new name and without a keyboardist.
