Born on the Caribbean Island of Borinquen/Puerto Rico & Syracuse, New York-bred artist. W. RODRIGUEZ is a Poet, Lyricist, Song writer, Spanglish emcee & record producer. His multisyllabic wordplay combined with life experiences gives his music a unique texture with an introspective conscious feel. At an early age, RODRIGUEZ had a deep connection for music growing up in Syracuse, New York. He was heavily inspired by HIP-HOP, LATIN HIP-HOP & POETRY. He then transitioned from a fanatic listener to a connoisseur & student of music. In 2007 he was featured in a published poetry book titled (Immortal Sentence's) for his poem "Broken Dream". RODRIGUEZ has co-produced, ghost written & has had multiple guest appearances on multiple local & regional mixtapes in Syracuse, New York & Cleveland Ohio. Furthermore, RODRIGUEZ also executive produced and was featured on 4 songs in an album titled (QUEMANDO CALLE) released in 2011 (via Spotify) Aswell on the soundtracks of an independent movie titled (LA FAMILIA). While simultaneously writing, recording & producing his own music in early 2016, then releasing two (EP'S) titled (TRAILS & TRIBULATIONS) & (TRIAL & ERROR) under (SELF-MADE PRODUCTIONS) W. RODRIGUEZ has been able to make himself a local & regional underground buzz and has blazed a trail for his music ever since.
