Abdi Ohadi – A sonic storyteller weaving emotions through music. From the depths of Classic Rock, Metal, and Electronic to the raw intimacy of folk and singer-songwriter ballads, my sound is ever-evolving, shaped by mood rather than market trends. Influenced by Metallica, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Nick Cave, Neil Young, and even Disney classics, I craft music that merges poetic lyricism—rooted in my background in English literature—with deep, human experiences. Born in Kerman, Iran, I've been playing music since I was 10, composing since 15, and have released four albums—from experimental metal with my band AORTAE to my solo classic rock and folk works. Since 2012, I have been consistently releasing my music, including over 10 singles. Beyond being a musician, I’m also deeply passionate about teaching. As a professional music instructor, I find joy in helping others discover their musical voices. Academically, I’m a university professor and PhD candidate, exploring the fascinating intersections of jazz music and poetry in my research. Stay tuned for music that resonates with the soul

Lyrics

Poem By James Joyce Sleep now, O sleep now, O you unquiet heart! A voice crying "Sleep now" Is heard in my heart. The voice of the winter Is heard at the door. O sleep, for the winter Is crying "Sleep no more." My kiss will give peace now And quiet to your heart— Sleep on in peace now, O you unquiet heart!
