Hi guys, I basically regard myself as a songwriter who tries to sing a little. I'm now working on my third album of own compositions. I've had at least five songs attain semi final positions in the UK Songwriting Contest and my best result to date was 'I Guess It's True' which scored a nine out of ten and was runner up in the jazz section. Also I've had over 130,000 hits in one month on an internet radio station in the past with my name appearing alongside the likes of Mary Wilson. None of this makes you any money but it's highly satisfying. I've never taken Reverbnation very seriously before but seeing as I've now apparently reached the lofty position of No.1 in the local charts I'm putting in a bit of effort to promote myself. I do hope people enjoy my music which is very diverse in genre and a great deal of credit should go to my friend Steve Redfearn at Rockhopper Studios who has put in so much hard work for me over the past few years. My second album titled 'The Back Nine' can be heard on Soundcloud and is available for downloads on ITunes, CD Baby and everywhere else. 'Ocean Blue' is included on the CD and is a track I co-wrote with my good friend Jemi Blue. It's a song about Beach Boy Dennis Wilson. Jemi sent me the lyrics and I put the music to them. The version on here was lovingly arranged and recorded by Adam Marsland. 'Vision of Hope' was recorded using Coke tins and no drugs were used in the making of that track. It was written for my blind friend Linda to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of her charity.
