Andrew Alling is a singer songwriter from Upstate NY who lives in Ithaca, NY. He has spent a great deal of time traveling, performing and living in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, California, Nashville, TN, and places in between.
With training in classical and jazz piano he has never stopped making music. His musical influences include Dave Brubeck, Peter Rowan, Phil Ochs and Bruce Cockburn. He continues to study the piano, but writes and performs live playing the acoustic guitar, with organ bass pedals and the harmonica.
He has written well over one hundred songs and has self-produced over four CDs. Balanced with his current yoga practice, his music speaks of politics, love, hardship, truth, adversity and hope.
