Band 13 is a Kansas City-based rock trio....Basically, If it sounds cool and it comes from an honest place, then we will play it. The result is unique, groove-based, genre-straddling music, free from the constraints of maintaining a certain image or conforming to a particular style or sound. Shaun Lindsey and Russ Bright played together for years in the K.C.-based band, Crooked River. After taking time apart to further develop their skills as songwriters and musicians, the two came back together like clockwork, joining with Drummer, Darin Watson who's roots lie in Punk and Surf, having played in the Minnesota-based bands, Swap Meet, and Sockless. These three individuals have come together to deliver a sound that reflects the diversity of each player merging into a fluid mesh of the stylistic experimentation, humor, sincerity, and honest emotion that makes up the Kansas City Power-Trio…Band 13.
