Bonefish is an Americana influenced rock band from Stockholm, Sweden. The band was formed four years ago by songwriter, singer and guitarist Bie Karlsson, with a past in top-10 Swedish album selling rock band “Docenterna”. In 2013 Bonefish released their self titled debut album and in April 2014 it’s time for the follow up; ”Time to market”, an 8 songs EP. Bonefish are influenced by everything from early blues and rock, through 1970/80:s legends like Television, Talking Heads and T Bone Burnett. Among more recent day influences it’s possible to mention Dinosaur Jr., Arcade Fire and Queens of the Stone Age. Nevertheless Bonefish has a unique sound thanks to Bie Karlsson’s song writing qualities and the band’s authentic love of performance. Bie Karlsson has for more than 20 years recorded and toured with band s like “T-shirts”, “Giant Steppers” and “Docenterna”. He has worked with world class producers, most notably Dennis ”Blackbeard” Bovell (UK), Anders ”Henkan” Henriksson and Michael Ilbert. Besides Bie Karlsson the band consists of Lasse Nilsen, Rasmus Rasmusson and Anders ”Nylle” Thoor. All with great experience of touring and recording on the local Swedish scene. Producer and musician Max Lorentz is like a 5th member of the band, renowned for his collaboration with Agnetha Fältskog and Tyla Gang (UK), among many others. He plays keyboard on all tracks of the album and the EP and participates in most Bonefish’ gigs. Spring 2014 Bonefish embarks on a tour through Sweden, UK, Germany and France.
