Growing up in the small town of Reading, Pennsylvania, Chandler didn’t start singing until his early 20’s; however he was exposed to a wide array of music from Rock to Funk to classic Soul from when he was a child. In 2001, he finally auditioned for his first band and got the gig. Upon beginning to sing regularly and on the scene, he sought out the tutelage of Tony Harnell (former TNT singer) in New York City, and studied with him on a regular basis. Chandler performed in many rock / funk / soul cover bands in the Pennsylvania area, and then decided to make the move to NYC in 2006, joining local metal heroes Until Destiny upon his arrival. From there he went on to perform with NYC Outlaws and the legendary NYC band Cities. He then went bi-coastal and joined the LA-based melodic rock band Talon in 2008, releasing the album “Fallen Angels” on Kivel Records. They performed at Firefest V in Nottingham, England to cap off the release, but Chandler and the band parted ways soon afterwards. At the same time Chandler began recording a new project with Bob Katsionis and Mark Cross (both of heavy metal band Firewind fame) in Athens, Greece. This eventually evolved into the band Outloud, and they signed with Frontiers Records in early 2009. The album was released to wide critical acclaim, and the band’s single “We Run” appeared on a handful of compilations in Europe and gained notoriety on Youtube and other social media sites, as did their single “Waiting For Your Love” from their follow-up album “Love Catastrophe” (for which they moved over to the AOR Heaven label) released in 2011 in the wake of which the band appeared on the front cover of Greek Metal Hammer, the biggest rock magazine publication in Greece and also being voted #4 best Greek band of 2011 in said publication. Additionally Outloud has toured Greece multiple times, appeared on Radio Arvyla, one of the most popular TV shows in Greece in front of over 1 million viewers, and is the most viewed Greek hard rock band on Youtube. In addition to his duties with Outloud, Chandler currently works as a session singer (he has performed on over 15 albums and sold over 15,000 CDs in just the last few years alone) and private event performer in NYC. He has performed with a wide variety of artists such as international superstars The Eagles, Frankie Valli, Pitbull, Flo Rida, Paul Shaffer of the David Letterman Show, and even Blues Brother Dan Akroyd. Chandler has also performed with rock icons such as Twisted Sister, The Misfits, Danger Danger, Firehouse, Tyketto, Wednesday 13 and Tony Harnell of TNT.
