Christy Gordon is a Los Angeles native and longtime San Gabriel Valley resident who picked up the guitar at 10 years old and hasn’t put it down since. After playing the hotel/casino show band circuit in her younger years she dedicated herself to playing roots-based music she truly loved. Her thumb and flat picking style is a blend of cross picking, bluegrass, traditional country, folk and Celtic, among other influences. She is an acoustic instrumental songwriter and loves to back up other artists and make their songs shine, using her expressive fluidity, chops and her best asset, her ear!
