We are Courteney Rodda and the Other Guys, a jazz project based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia. Consisting of Courteney Rodda, vocals, Rob Herrett, guitar, and Dave Rodda, drums; we want to recreate an authentic stripped down jazz sound reminiscent of the masters from the 40′s through to the 60′s. Over the course of the next few months, we will be releasing videos and songs as we work on our repertoire.
All our tracks are recorded live in one take with no fancy bells or whistles (or auto-tune. heh.) to keep it as faithful to the originals as possible. We sincerely hope that you enjoy what we’ve got to share, and stay tuned! There will be lots more coming in the next few months.
