Saskatchewan to Peggy’s Cove
There are times, I wish to spend, in golden fields, that never end
Saskatchewan’s a special place, give their best and a slower pace
All for one, one for all, tend the crops, through the fall
For city folks rushing round the globe
Time is measured by the sun, a helping hand from everyone
Respect is earned and given as you grow
I recall long ago, a special town called Peggy’s Cove
Load the catch in a pick-up truck, kitchen party, an oyster shuck
All for one, one for all, tend the traps in a summer squall
For city folks rushing round the globe
Time is measured by the sun, a helping hand from everyone
Respect is earned and given as you grow
Canada will always be, a diamond in the rough to me
Shining from a brittle piece of coal
Change is measured by the sun, lend a hand to everyone
Respect is earned and given as we grow
Canada is always in our soul
