Dave Houghton has been making genre-bending music for over 20 years. His early years with Colorado band, The Reejers, found him opening for legends such as Neil Young, Jeff Buckley and The Smashing Pumpkins. The past 12 years Dave has been the creative force behind Massachusetts based Fancy Trash, a power trio shaking its fist at Americana with “folk for the anti-folk” music. Houghton’s role as lyricist, vocalist and guitarist have earned him reviews such as “a true rock front man”, “everything you could ask for in a 21st century singer songwriter” and “vocals that pine earnestly yet disturbingly intimate”. Dave Houghton is now stepping into the role of solo artist with the release of his first solo effort, “Leche Moon”, out this Fall.
