Hip Hop • Southfield, MI
Deuces Wild When talking about who’s the hottest female duo in the game, you can’t have a conversation without saying the name, Deuces Wild. The Detroit-born duo of Creme and Nik B possess a unique style blend of Hip-Hop infused with R&B. Widely known as two of the hottest female emcees on the planet, Deuces Wild spit real hardcore lyrics with class and style. Like the female rap group with whom it's often compared, Salt and Pepa, Deuces Wild has created a sound often described as eccentric and infectious. In many ways, Ms. Creme and Nik B are opposites who complement each other on record, video and on stage. Nik B is known for her pistol toting, quick-witted and feisty character, style, beauty and grace. Ms. Creme brings her Bold, Aggressive, Sexy,Sassy and no game playing lyrics and Knock out looks to the stage. Creme and Nik B complement each other and challenge one another to create new, fresh, hot music for a universal audience. Born in Detroit, Sameerah Marrel, better known as Ms. Creme, has a successful track record in the public eye. It all started in high school while writing poetry in her spare time, a dedicated lyricist has been born. In the year 2000, her rapping and ability to write rhymes were put to the test when well-known Detroit Rapper Juan of Dirty Glove Ent needed a female lyricist on a song. He was literally blown away by her performance and encouraged her to continue as a possible career. After diligently spending time in the studios, Crème was fully aware of what it took to be the best in this business. In the late 2000s, Crème decided to move to Atlanta to pursue her dream. Luckily, she landed a deal with an independent label, How You Love That Records, but before her career could take flight, the company dismantled in 2003. In 2005, disappointed and confused Crème decided to move back home. Blinded with visions of being a star, Crème contemplated on her next career choice, Cosmetology With her savings, she decided to skip tradition and start something new, For Weaves Only, the first studio in Michigan to specialize only in hair weaving. While opening her business she met a popular Producer/rapper/Host named RenCen. Ren Cen saw something in Creme no one else did, a softer side. Creme began to open up as an artist and try a unique sound in music, style and delivery. Creme began to do collaborations with some of the most successful artist in the area. In 2008, respected among local MC's, Creme was invited to host, “Detroit Rap TV”, and increased her popularity while gaining notoriety. As a direct complement to Creme's buoyant sense of flow and rhyme, Deuces Wild's other half has brought a structured emcee flair to the duo. Also born in the City of Detroit, Noelle Brown, formerly known as Nikki Brown but, better known as Nik B, has an extensive background in dance and choreography. This is highly noticeable while she’s delivering her message on stage. In the latter part of her freshman year, the style of modern dance was introduced to Nik B by her instructor at Murray Wright High School. Inspiration from her peers and leading her team in state championships, Nik became head choreographer for dance courses in her senior year. After Graduation, Nik continued to voluntarily coach several high school and “Little League” cheerleading squads while perfecting her craft as an artist. By 2006, Nik B had created a name for herself on the battle rap scene and became a crowd favorite. Most of the city rallied behind Nik because of her petite, girly image that released the beast as she began to spit. In 2006, Nik B won her first of all the Girl-fight competitions and remains undefeated. Coincidentally, the Girl- fight showcase is where the two MC's were introduced to each other through a mutual friend. The two immediately clicked and built a friendship. Meanwhile Nik B would work with new artist Xplicit Lyric signed to Katt Pack/Universal as her hype girl. Playing that position taught Nik B how to gel cohesively with other rappers. At the same time Creme was working on a solo project and invited Nik B to Atlanta with her to record a song featuring Rocko. While recording in Atlanta at Soul Asylum, Patchwerk, and Hot Beats, Creme asked Nik B to jump on a few songs for the album. Nik B knew this was her moment to shine and she did that and more. After returning home the girls began to record more songs together and shoot two viral videos together for “Spend it All” and “Right Tonight”. The two compliment each other so well but it wasn’t until Royce da 5’9’s artist Kid Vishis tweeted about the girls being the new Salt n Pepa that they realized what they had stumbled upon. Immediately Creme’s mind went to work on a name for the duo and Deuces Wild popped up first and won Nik over. In August of 2010 Deuces Wild began working on their debut album “Runway Music”. Nik B comes from a rap battle background, which gives her the edge, aggression and slick tongue that illuminates on songs like "No Sweat" and "Cash”. The blend of both voices harmonizes perfectly on the song “Travelholics” and the unique and beautiful voice of Nik B adds flare to songs like "My Type" and "Room Spinning". Creme adds flavor to the duo with her sultry, raspy, commanding voice. her impeccable flow shifts song into overdrive , which is demonstrated on songs like “Ballin on repeat” and “Burnin up”.
