Calm delivery of music to the feel of the heart and lyrics that speaks to the soul, this is what Dung Zang Nyam, a Nigerian Singer/Songwriter, with the moniker DZ, is known for. He hails from Jos, Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, West Africa. He is an influential music Artist, with a devoted following. Until the beginning of his music career, he sold audio/video tapes in his Mother's Patent Medicine Store, Door to Door, on Streets, Churches and Concert venues, to complement the investment of time and resources in him, by his parents; bought additional new clothes and shoes for himself and also bought studio time and a Bible. In 1997, his first album, "Escape" was released, followed by the release of his second album, "Arise And Shine" in 1999, his music is full of hope for all Nations. Nyam's influences includes, but not limited to: Bob Marley, Travis Green, Lucky Dube, R. Kelly, Sister Rosetta, Blind Willie Johnson, and Don Moen.
"Champion", his 2020 Debut single is now Trending on Local, National, and Global charts, earning him a place once again in the hearts of new and old fans-critics alike. "Beyond This Crisis" a single, reassuring victory in the midst of turbulence, was released on October 1, 2020. His 3rd single "Forgive" and "Beyond This Crisis was released on March 1, 2021
