The name comes from the word expedition, which means organized journey for exploration, and he adds his trade mark "IOOOIIAOUAI" acquired from reading peoples brains in order to learn the ways.That enhances the meaning to.exploration of the mind.this is as he says"is to make people see the hidden power,capabilities,love,hate,wealth,and everything they never thought they have".Ecspedition as a Vocalist musician started singing his own music only after high school or ( grade 2) even though the talent was there even before, as he recalls. Ecspedition: Music to me is Soul vision.Music gives me x-ray of mankinds' spirit and also helps me have a voice for the orphans to respond back to nature . What is your music dream? Ecspedition: When one person tells me they are living today because of what i potray and Stand for,then words God say in vocals as lyrics in my music are home. Ecspedition: Singer afrikanah...Jah sento...Donteh...ikie bobo Ecspedition is Kenyan, born [1988,December 18th) Ezekiel Mwangi Karanja, in the village of Bahati Nakuru county.The name ecspedition comes from expedition which he gave himself with the intention of talking about his journies of adventure in life reflected in the music that he was writing.Earlier his friends had named him KJ ,later kJien Lorenzo a character in the merchant of venice love and poetry set book in kenyan syllabus. In the year 2012 he relocated permanently in the capital nairobi and there found Ras Kago a radio show host for late afternoon reggae classics and introduced him to his record label .There they made a Gentlemans agreement to record an album consisting 8 songs and these is where the name expedition first came out .but due to fast gorwing internet similar names he decided to change the name to Ecspedition. IN 2013 he met Hypemastersa sound system and record label that he met during a homegrown reggae live performance along side artistes like ras lyon hart ,Donteh,LYrical ill,brucho,Sergio,badscar.
