Forgotten Remains are a metal band from Chesterfield, North Derbyshire. Being influenced by the likes of Cannibal Corpse and The Haunted, they are described as combining old school thrash / death metal, with a new wave edge. The band was formed in their secondary school years, and since then developed their music and played highly energetic shows extensively around the UK. In terms of releases, FR have released ‘Forgotten Remains’ (2012), ‘Bind Torture Kill’ (2013), and most recently, 'Morbid Reality' (June 2016). Morbid Reality was recorded with the very well known Metal producer Russ Russell, who has worked with bands such as Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir and Raging Speedhorn. Watch this space for early 2017... Forgotten Remains were crowned the winners of the 2015 East Midlands M2TM competition, and played a blinding set on the New Blood Stage last year. They have also had great exposure from the likes of TBFM Radio, Rockcast 100 and the Metal Hammer Magazine. Forgotten Remains' top priority is to sustain the momentum that they have built for themselves in the last few years. With an exciting new release this year, and the desire to branch even further across Europe, Forgotten Remains are the ones to keep an eye on in the very near future!
