We are an American heavy metal band from Maine. We began to form when Michael Cormier (UMA music grad) met Adam Gilchrest (awarded World's fastest guitarist in July 2011 by Dr. David Adamovich and the RHR official world organization) through a Craigs List musicians wanted ad in the summer of 2010. Michael had been in the local Maine metal scene looking for a band. Adam had just moved back from Hollywood, CA after graduating from Musicians Institute and playing the LA music scene with thrash metal band Vertigo (finalists on MTV's Battle for Ozzfest reality show). After a few years of recording and playing shows with various bass players, the two met Arthur Leavitt, who currently plays bass for the band. Mike had originally played bass but switched over to drums. After years of not having a consistent front man, Adam and Mike had taken over all the vocals for the band. Currently, each member of FMP is a singer of the band. In 2012, FMP released its first album, "Growth." The album includes FMP classics such as Picnic Basket Case, Metal Mountain, Wrath of the Juggernaut, and Walking Cadaver. Following up on "Growth," FMP released "The Golden Rule," and "Tribal" early in 2014. The songs have been played on WFLM, West Florida Metal Radio. Mike co hosted two shows with radio DJ Jewel Throne. Our goals as an artist is to serve other others with musical talents , and to be touring musicians on an international level with similar artists. We strive to keep moving forward and to continue to grow our success level. We are currently recording without a budget.
