Free Radt
Alternative • Denver, CO
The saga of the Radt began in 2008 when Katz and Jer decided to put their songwriting talents to work. Free Radt is created around the idea of constant change and our response to explore the maze. Intense and passionate vocals combine with primal beats and hypnotic waves of molten guitar. Deep Bass and improvisational violin melodies gives Free Radt a dynamic edge. Free Radt consists of four very talented, seasoned musicians and songwriters. Katz Romero: on Lead Pipes of the gods. formerly of ethnic power metal band “Peyote Ceremony,” who also recorded her jazz project: “Midnight Sun”, produced by Eric Gunnison. Jeremy Barber: graduated from Whitman College in 1993 with a BA degree in Music/Composition and is a virtuoso proficient in metal, rock, blues, jazz, classical and bluegrass. He is featured on numerous recordings including Bob Harris’s "The Great Nostalgia" (also featuring Steve Vai); as well as other projects Spiv, and Riddlehouse. He has shared the stage with Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Hot Tuna, Ron Miles, and Left Over Salmon. Jeremy was recently signed to Steve Vai’s distribution label in March 2010 with the band MAMA. Devon Francy: Bassist with progressive rock, funk and punk rock influences. Professional in drums and bass, Devon played with Turbo Funk, a progressive funk band, which was his first band experience. Originally from New York City, Devon is a fresh, young addition to the band. Rolf Gunnar: Mad Demon Hauge on the Drums. Gunnar earns his name by pummeling with ferocity and inventive creativity. He continues to lead with beats that drive Free Radt’s music. Free Radt’s first CD was released in 2009, with 14 powerfully written songs that break through barriers of each genre, style and expression reflecting the full force range, and talent of the band’s songwriting capabilities. In 2011, Free Radt released their 2nd CD “Love 101” which breaks new ground in terms of Free Radt’s sound and songwriting style. Fan Credentials: Geraldine C. Rhodes “Hey! I Love Your Music,” Ward E.
