George Deveaux, a country and gospel artist writing and preforming for four decades now, primarily in Canada and the USA but also in some out of the way places such as Vietnam, Africa, Kabul and Kandahar Afghanistan, most recently in the Philippines.
Having grown up preforming in a family band "The Singing "D" Family" playing churches, outdoor shows and opening acts George developed his style under the influences of Gordon Lightfoot and Jim Croce. As a result people find it easy to relate to his unique style and authentic sound.
George brings a traditional message, as well as, an original sound that is otherwise missing in much of todays modern country and gospel music. At a time when both country and Christian music has become mainstream repetitive and seriously lacking in creative content, getting back to the basics is a breath of fresh air.
