Singer/songwriter Jackie Hibbard is also a firefighter in Houston, Texas. He was born and raised in Texas where there's something in the water for talented artists. Hard work is a way of life in Texas whether it's fighting fires or making music. He's a husband, father, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer. He's influenced by the melting pot of Texas music from Willie Nelson to Stevie Ray Vaughan. He grew up playing music in church and the club scene in Houston, Austin and Dallas. "I have worked very hard on my craft of music for 20 years to get to this level." This is a DIY type of project, a blue-collar approach with the most recent technology at hand. He recorded most tracks on his iPhone with iRig input and Mac mini with GarageBand exclusively and apogee duet. All these original songs are written and arranged by Jackie with producing and engineering help from long time friend and collaborator John 'Hazmat' Haddad.
