I was born and reared in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, Ireland but have been living in Croghan, Co. Offaly for the last 30 years or so. It was always my dream to get involved in showbiz and the opportunity came in 1987 when I recorded a song entitled 'Brown Eyes'. Such was it's success that it headed straight to the top of the charts and remained at No. 1 for several weeks. There and then I decided to pack in my day job with Bord-Na-Mona and embark on a full time career in music. Currently celebrating 25 years in showbiz, I have had many ups and down along the way but the loyal support of my family and fans helped me pull through. I have enjoyed great success with my recordings over the years especially my own self penned songs. Songwriting is a passion of mine and I will be showcasing my work in this Facebook page. I have toured the length and breath of Ireland, the UK, Scotland, also performed at country music events in Spain and Portugal but the one place that is etched in my mind is the beautiful island of St. Lucia. The people there have taken me to their heart and following a Number 1 hit there with my own song 'Stepping Stone' they made me a 'Freeman of St. Lucia'. Every time I tour there I am treated like royalty. It has been an amazing journey and I look forward to entertaining in the years ahead and making many new friends and fans on my musical journey.
