Alum Nicron Tangan, better known by his stage name King Aluan, is a prominent Cameroonnian Hip hop Artist and the winner of ACE Awards Cameroon 2008. He is signed to Salary Records music label. Early life King Aluan (Alum Nicron Tangan) was born in the town of Tombel, Kupe Maneguba Sub Division,Cameroon, the son of Mr. and Mrs.Tangan Serah Okarabi. Early in life, aged two, he moved with his family to Garoua, North Region, Cameroon. In Garoua he received his primary education at GBPS Garoua, He attended the GTC Kumba in the South West region, where in 2002 he began writing hip hop music, which he described as 'rubbish', and performing it at secondary school parties, club days and formals. It was not until 2005 that he began going to studios to record and began meeting people. In 2005, he got together with a couple of his friends and formed a group called the M Squad. They had a few performances as a group and split a year later. In 2006 He Traveled to Lagos Nigeria where he Attended so many shows, Concerts and Carnivals. His influences are Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Fella Kuti, 2 Face, Mickeal Jackson, Sisqo and M,I Career. In 2007, ‘Salary’ his debut Album was released. The hit song in the album ‘Salary’ has been on radio station charts in Yaounde and Kumba. It has been on cameronn national radio station CRTV, Radio Campus Fm, Ocean city Radio, Lake Side Radio Fm, Afric nuvel of Bamenda , Hot coacoa fm, TBC Radio yaounde, Sweet Fm.
