Little Babooshka's Grind was formed in 1996 with the sole aim to promote original music and contribute to the growing indie music scene. Over the years we have: * Been a promoter of original music in the country from Chennai since 1996 * Written and produced 16 songs for our debut album "This Animal is called the Wallet" in 2004 * Organized a series of charity show to raise funds for tsunami affected victims under the banner "Rising south" in 2005 * Written and produced 11 songs for the second album "Bad Children" in 2006 * Invited for nation wide festivals namely Chennai's June Rock Out 2002 - 2005 and most notably the East-winds Festival New Delhi in 2008 * Self produced a music video for "Basics of Life" to promote the second album * Performed complete acoustic set as part of the acts. * Headlined at CMC Vellore, Great Lakes Institue, IIT Karagpur * Bad Children" was nominated for Rock album of the year in 2006 by RSJ Awards. * Written about 150 songs and counting.
