Formed in 2012 in Chihuahua City, Mexico, Legati highlights as a Symphonic Metal band for its compositions highly influenced by the virtuosity of neoclassical music and the integration of the familiar intensity of 80’s heavy metal, led by a female melodic voice of harmonic operatic nuances. In 2016 Legati launches their first official album “Path To Synchrony” under independent label, debuting with the official video for the song titled “New Era”. Throughout its career, the band has participated in mayor events such as the 2016 International Chihuahua Festival and as opener for the likes of Lacuna Coil in 2017. Its clean technique, orchestral arrangements, poetic lyrical expression and attention to detail has earned Legati mention in various local newspapers and radio stations, and international media such as Heavy Riff magazine, UK Fireworks magazine, AMS RADIO Colombia. As well, Legati earned the recognition for Best Album Cover for a Power Metal Band in 2016 by BDP Metal page, was nominated for Best Latin American Album of the Year by HEADBANGERS LATINOAMERICA, and winner for Best International Band of the 2013 AMS Metal Awards. “Path to Synchrony” is currently being distributed by radio and CD format in Mexico and foreign countries like the USA, the United Kingdom, Japan, Brazil, Colombia and the Netherlands, giving Legati the width of an international band. In 2018 Legat is working on new original material for their second album (title yet to be announced), of which two songs have already been published: “Closer” and “The Reminder”, available now on the band’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
