Lovd Ones are a progressive Roots Reggae band hailing from Orlando, Florida, USA.  Created and fronted by Benjah (Dove® Award-winning, GRAMMY®-nominated Songwriter, Producer, and Engineer). Lovd Ones is a collaborative project that features many different artists that are united in recognizing that truth prevails over darkness and love can unify all. In 2011 Benjah released Lovd Ones debut album alongside his longtime cohort Dillavou entitled Introducing...Lov’d Ones.  The album featured a reggae, world, hip hop mash up sound and hit #2 on the iTunes Reggae Charts.  The debut caught the attention of many and were invited to perform at the Bob Marley Nine MIle Festival in Miami, Florida alongside artists such as Stephen, Damian, and Kymani Marley, Inner Circle, Slightly Stoopid and many others.   They have since directed their sound towards a more conscious reggae style, fusing an authentic reggae sound with a distinct American vibe. In early 2014 they released a free EP titled "Mountains & Valleys".  The release speaks of life’s ups and downs, trials and victories.  The EP can be downloaded at noisetrade.com/lovdones . At present, Lovd Ones are extremely excited to announce the release of their new LP Thicker Than Blood.   With a projected release date in July of 2014, the album has an impressive lineup of features and songs.   In an effort to expose global issues and chant for change, the song "My Lord" features Sizzla, and speaks of unity, and proclaims that love will crumble walls of hate and confusion.   "Rio De Paz" features Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D., this song sheds light on the corruption and bloodshed in Brazilian ghettos.    Stay connected with Lovd Ones on all social media @lovdones
