Madam Sin is a well established Denver based six piece band bringing an original, powerful, and unique sound fusing funk, rock, and jazz for the last five years. With Shannon Fine, and her partner in crime Jonny Rise, on lead vocals together they are able to create irresistible harmonies and compelling lyrics that are thought provoking resonating with experience. Jonny also is on lead and rhythm guitar strumming those sweet chords and tasty licks. Holding down the bottom end is Torch (Melvin Morford) on bass driving those changes and grooves. Dan Briechle is the drummer making the steady beats with his jazzy and upbeat style. Last but not least, our horn section with Brandon Stewart on brass (trumpet, horns, and trombone) and Sarah Mount on the saxophones (Alto, Tenor, and Baritone) working hand in hand to enhance the full sound with line that bring a rich flavor and intriguing solos. This group has made a lot of headway with their first album in 2013, called Madam Sin (self-titled), leading to shows at local venues such as The Toad Tavern, Herman's Hideaway, Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, and many more. Over the past few years this line up has made a brand new branch of fantastic tunes to get you moving, and has been working hard at Violet Recording Studios nestled against the mountains in north Boulder.
