(Margherita Pirri) Songwriter/singer and original soundtrack composer born in Milan - Italy, Margherita starts writing her first original songs at the age of 16 with lyrics in English, French and Italian. She has almost published her 4. album "Looking for truth" (produced, performed and arranged by Margherita) that will be available in december 2014 and performs her songs in Italian songwriting contests. Fascinated by music and its shapes since she was a little girl she has taken piano lessons for 12 years and learned playing acoustic guitar by herself. Bewitched by classical music, especially by composer W. A. Mozart, Margherita studied lyrical singing, very young she started performing as a solo Soprano in several concerts organized by her School, the German School of Milan, Italy. However her first love is composing and performing her own songs. Her songs received recognition through Radio 1 Rai programme DEMO ( for talented unsigned songwriters ). Margherita won the "DEMO AWARD" in 2012 and performed her songs in several italian cities since 2010 till now, DEMO even chosed her to take part in prestigious songwriter contests like the SIAE AWARD and the DEMO D' AUTORE AWARD.
