Mathias Rock: Saving rock'n'roll one listener at a time! Mathias Rock is a Canadian Rock'n'roll band based out of Prince George in Northern British Columbia. Formerly known in Canada as Ceremony, they have released 2 full length albums (one as Ceremony and one as Mathias Rock) and have played many live concerts in both club and festival formats. The band is Mathias Rock - Lead vocals/guitar, Saša Šešlija - Bass guitar, Shawn Cannon - Organ/keys/vocals and Chester Hewkin on Drums. As a live band Mathias Rock plays their own fast punk styled rock'n'roll featuring intense drumming, rock solid basslines, the classic sounds of the Hammond B3 organ and piano, distorted guitars and melodic vocals. On record most of the instrumental tracks have been performed by primary songwriter Mathias who is a multi-intsrumentalist. All vocals have also been performed by him. As time goes on more and more of the recordings feature the other members of the group and when tracking starts on their next project it will feature the whole band contributing.
