Matt Lomeo
Blues • La Crescenta, CA
Born in Utica, NY, Matt Lomeo benefited from the vibrant Blues scene radiating from Syracuse at the time that he first picked up a harmonica at the age of 9. At 10 he played Woodstock '99 with his big brother on guitar. After years of gigging and a two-year stint as host of WAER Syracuse's "Sunday Night Blues" FM radio broadcast, Matt took his talents to Memphis, TN and Beale St., where he held down another two-year residency as house bandleader and entertainment director at historic Club Handy. Back home in Upstate NY, Matt held down a Thursday night spot at the best bar in Utica, the Nail Creek Pub, for over a year and a half. In the spring of 2018, Matt relocated once again to Los Angeles, CA to further his musical career. Capable of singing everything from Blues, Rock, Country, Soul, and Jazz, and throwing some harp on it to boot, Matt is equally adept in an acoustic duo or trio as he is with a full electic band.
