Dave Wolfe (Midwest Monster) was given the name by Lux Interior in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1999 while opening up for the Cramps with his band Reverse Cowgirl. Soon after that Dave moved to Austin Texas to pursue the dream. It took him 4 years to put the perfect combination together. Kitty (Bass) and Steven (Drums) meet Dave soon after he moved down and they spoke about doing "something different". Mike, long time friend and blood brother of Dave's, had to be sent for up in Wisconsin cuz there was shortage or guitar players in Austin for some reason. The band had found it's form. Called "The best kept secret in Texas" Midwest Monster has been playing 10 to 20 shows a year for the last 9 years. Just recently MwM has decided to branch out of Texas to conquer the world. Look for a Video and LP to fallow. No Kidding.
