Mona is a Mozambican Rock band formed by 3 members (A girl and two guys), they carry a variety of uncommon traditional rhythms. This band is no ordinary band; this is the band that is revolutionizing the entire music scene in Mozambique recording on their own. The band is working at high costs without earning anything in return, and right now the are owners of the only Rock/Metal Record Label in Mozambique for all bands that lost hope in fighting to get their work out there. Everything started on a perfect blue sky day when 'Goro' (Drummer) and 'monace' (Female Guitarist) were searching for a perfect person to fit with the band's needs, they tested many musicians and vocalist that they reached a point where they wanted to give up. At that time when they were thinking about giving up, a magical person appeared 'Mel Vicious' (Vocalist, Bass Player). He grabbed the microphone and the bass guitar and sang... "ON THE LINE". After these 3 words everyone knew what was necessary to do till today, because "WE ARE THREE AND WE ARE FREE".
