Hello, my name is Jay! Kouc is my nickname derived from my last name (yes it is greek and mostly vowels) and 52... my favorite number. I have zero music theory knowledge. I just take the noise that gets stuck in my head and try to figure out how to play it on the fretboard. I always felt my stuff was too simple for anyone to dig as I am no George Lynch, Steve Via or Eddie Van Halen. My technical ability I consider myself "ok" at best. But I came to the understanding some of the simplest songs sound so kickass and stick with us. It is not all just about technical skill, it's about emotion and moving people sonically.
