John Walden

John "JW" Walden skillfully weaves the essence of the song through a heart felt groove. A New Orleans native and former resident of the San Francisco, Ca Bay Area, John has lent his sense of time and feel to many independent artist and bands. John has worked with indie award winning country artist Miko Marks, Rock act Raising Days, Rock/Pop Acts Aoede and Juniper Row, and 2011 two time LA Music Award nominee The Mick Donovan Band. John can be heard playing at many local venues as well as different parts of the US. John has performed live in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Portland, Nashville, and his home town of New Orleans. John's skill set goes beyond playing bass. He is also a solid time keeper from behind the drums and has displayed technical and mechanical skills which have proven useful on tour. In 2013 John has branch into his own project "Black Bayou Rose" which has allowed John to grow into a songwriting role as well as continuing to hone his craft as a bassist.
