She has been singing since the age of 5 and taught herself how to play guitar at the age of 16. She has been performing her entire life. Starting at the age of 6 years old, Nicole participated in many musical theater plays. She had the lead role in Annie and sang in the chorus for Main, Hello Dolly, Music Man, and Sound of Music. At the age of 8 years old Nicole was asked to sing the National Anthem, in front of 500 people, at a “Make-A-Wish” foundation event. It was around the age of 8 years old when Nicole discovered her true passion for music. She knew even at 8 that she wanted to pursue music for the rest of her life. During Nicole’s middle school and high school years she sang the National Anthem at almost every varsity baseball and football game. She participated in her high school’s jazz band and chorus, where she had many leading vocal parts. Toward the end of Nicole’s high school career she was the treasurer of her high school’s rock band, called Illusion. She got to pick 8 of her favorite songs and cover them for a live audience in New York and also in Disney World. While in college, Nicole is still very active with her music career. In February of 2012 Nicole and boyfriend John Longhitano, entered themselves into a Katy Perry “cover” contest. They sang as a duet “The One That Got Away” and won the contest. They were then featured on Katy Perry’s Facebook page for the world to see. Nicole is also very active with her social media. She has a YouTube account where she creates covers of today’s top hits. She has over 400,000 total channel views and over 100,000 views on several videos. Nicole has had tons of experience playing in front of live audiences. She says being on stage is the best feeling in the world. Nicole still hopes to pursue a music career and hopes to get her music out there for the world to hear. She wants people to be able to relate to her music and to put a smile on everyone’s face.
