My name is P’tah Johnson, and I am a producer and singer aspiring to succeed in the music industry. I usually work within the genres of Soul, R&B, Hip-hop, and pop, however I am open to all types of music. I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I started to sing around the age of 5 at church and began pursuing a career in secular music at 11 years old. In 2012 my partner and I formed a production team and musical group called Truly Y.O.U.R.S.. We have released several songs on iTunes, YouTube, and other media. We are members of Broadcast Music, Inc. I have worked with several successful writers, producers, artists, and engineers in the Boston area including: Amandi Music, Dre Robinson, Marcus Allen of the Heavyweights Production Team, Mike Malchicoff, Jass Bianchi, Smoke Bulger, Nelly Protools, Eve Hyppolite, Ayeisha Mathis, Aaron Kimbro, S Dot Money, and Gwen Bunn. I have performed at a variety of events and venues including: Toast N Flow in Danbury, Connecticut; Be About It Clothing Launch at Hennessy’s of Boston Nightclub; Dorchester Music Club House (multiple performances), B. Heard in Worcester, MA (multiple performances); Multicultural Showcase at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth; The Middle East Nightclub in Cambridge, MA; Wonder Bar Nightclub in Boston, MA; The Spot at Bay State College in Boston, MA; and more. My aspiration is to have a successful career in music production and as a solo artist. I am looking for help in reaching a broader audience and getting the exposure needed to gain the attention of major producers/artists/record labels. I would really like to get a distribution deal with a major label. As a producer, I would like the opportunity to share my material with successful mainstream artists. I feel that I have the talent to create unique sounds that touch a variety of audiences and I enjoy hearing talented musicians add their own personality to my productions.
