Raye 6 Powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, producer and UW management artist Raye 6 has been calling Brooklyn home since 2005. Currently based between Brooklyn and Miami, she has evolved into a stellar talent who has been able to travel the world sharing her musical gifts. She's collaborated with a wide array of artists such as but not limited to: M1 of Dead Prez, Joe Buddens, Ghostface Killah and Chris Sholar (Beyonce/Kanye West) to name a few. Her “Grace Jones-esque” audaciousness enabled her to crash the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet in 2010 upon which, images of her went viral alongside Christina Aguilera & Katy Perry. She headlined the OUT Music Awards in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood in 2012, toured Japan & London and has performed at major music festivals including SXSW, WMC, Art Basel Miami, CMJ and more. Raye 6 has been featured in magazines like Clam, Star, Glamour, Luire, Japan Times and in commercials for BET Rip The Runway & the Greater Than Campaign. Raye 6's influences range from Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Michael McDonald, Miguel, Justin Timberlake, MGMT, Empire Of The Sun, Fever Ray, Kaputt, Bat For Lashes, Lenny Kravitz, Ledisi, Gorillaz & Little Dragon. In 2014 she released the Baby Raye EP, produced by UK producer Baby J (Amy Winehouse) which included her most recent singles "Lifted Sand" and "I Like". This project also initiated a dramatic transformation in her look and sound as an artist, revealing a more polished and sophisticated aesthetic that has left her fans awestruck! Raye has achieved some major milestones over the course of 2014 which include: the launch of her Pandora station, her single "I Like" climbing to #2 on iTunes in Eastern Europe making her famed NYC Summerstage debut as a headliner accompanied by a 15-piece orchestra in front of 3,000+ crowd embarking on the journey of writing and producing her forthcoming debut full-length album entitled "Life of 6", slated to drop in the US & Europe Summer 2015. We are very eager to maintain last year's momentum by kicking off 2015 with the release of her forthcoming EP-"The Other Side of Love" in Japan slated for Spring 2015 as well as a series of dance remixes by some of the hottest DJ/ Producers in the game.
