RELEASED is an Alternative Metal band, originating in Sarasota, Fl; now residing worldwide. RELEASED is made up of guitarist (Tony Filipic), drummer (Ray Hoefler III), vocalist (Jeffery A Arnold) and bassist (Gary Ferguson). Formed in 2002, RELEASED came into the South Florida music scene; with a tenacious live show and a true sound all their own. Their influences, ranging from NYHC (New York Hardcore), Metal, Funk, Jazz and Electronic Music, RELEASED was making its mark and headway for many great things to come. In 2005, RELEASED recorded their self-titled, 5 song Ep; with producer/engineer JR Gunther, this was crucial in the refining of their sound. With the release of their Ep, RELEASED gained international acknowledgement, a number of independent record label interests and shared the stage with such acts as ANKLA, HED(pe), Bad Acid Trip, EKOTREN and more. In 2007 the members of RELEASED sat down and agreed collectively to take a break from shows, to focus more on their music, their lives and the future of RELEASED. As difficult as it was to accept, this opened up opportunities to work independently and collaboratively on new songs for RELEASED, new solo projects, grow as people and eventually become better friends. December 2013, RELEASED was asked to play a benefit show "Toys for Tots" in their hometown (Sarasota, Fl), and without hesitation the band gratefully accepted. This show was a confirmation of just how much their music and their friendships really meant to them, their fans and the importance of what it was they were doing in the first place. Now in 2019, RELEASED is working on a new Ep, booking shows and putting their musical stamp on the world! The future has been written.
