I have always loved music. Music is a release of stress, life's interpretations and expression of energy all in one. Deep huh? Nah.... Just one of life's pleasures. Having the love of learning stringed instruments... Has been a fascinating journey and very rewarding. For some reason God has given the yearning to play instruments that I hear... And the ability to do so. I have to admit I can play most instruments... But am master of none. I have been in several successful bands, played solo for years, and even taught music in a Middle school for several years. I was even honored to play on Alabama's PBS TV. I also owned and ran a successful recording studio for many years. It was one of my most rewarding times in life. I still have the studio, but now only use it privately for my own personal enjoyment. All the music you hear on my ReverbNation page was written , performed and recorded there. I hope you enjoy my music, I'm still not sure of its gender...so I just call it Blues or Newgrass.... Because the majority of it was written with Bluegrass instruments. Please keep in touch and feel free to contact me... Or at least leave a comment on my page. You can contact me at riclwilson@gmail.com. Please become a fan and I will keep you posted on any new music or location of performances. Oh... I am still finializing the art on my new CD. Hope you might want one, holler if you do! Thanks Ric L. Wilson!
